Carrot 2004

While the battle rages on between Kerry and Bush this October, we cannot forget about the important 3rd party candidates. No, I'm not talking about Libertarians or the Green Party, who don't have a chance in hell. No, a far more noteworthy candidate is Chris P. Carrot.

Yes, everyone's favorite organization PETA (People for the Eating of Tasty Animals) have sponsored a campaign to spread their dingbat vegetarian message across the country. It's not working. Maybe it's the lack of delicious meat to their brains, but the concept of dressing up in a giant carrot costume isn't going to convince a single carnivore to change their ways.

The whole vegan movement is pretty skewed in any case. I won't judge a person for choosing to be a vegan, but when they push their beliefs on you like Jehovah's Witnesses, that's crossing the line. We were born to eat meat. If we weren't meant to, we wouldn't be able to digest it, like every herbivorous species in the world. If you're a Christian, check your Bible - God is commanding you to eat meat, and He also demands the occasional animal sacrifice, meaning He'd like an order of spare ribs himself from time to time.

But in case you've decided to make the switch to a life of hating yourself at every mealtime, Carrot2004 is here to help. Click on the banner for a Vegetarian Starter Kit, filled with useful tips such as "Alec Baldwin and Alicia Silverstone are just two of the famous faces who never eat animals!" Why their banner has a pig on it, I don't understand.
