I never made that.....

Clearing up some even older business, today I found out I am now getting credit for this.

That was PACHUKA.  Can ZDers please get with the year 2000 in 2010.  It is nice to see myself getting credit due to my awsome evil branding skills against ZD, but PACHUKA was the first well known anti-ZD profile in the years 1999/2000.

That pre-dates my websites entire existence upwards of two years.  Clearly someone doesn't know his anti-ZD communities very well.

ZD taken over by Travian Nation!!!!

The day has finally come, as Travian recenty usurped Edman's ZD Empire.   Turning it into nothing more then a village awaiting our orders.

How else do you explain his sudden lack of knowledge that Edman wasn't the owner the last time he posted emulation news in August 2008?

Homebrew Emulation may suck, but retail emulation is still gold!!

Oh nooooossss!!!!  Sega of America somehow forgot how they tried this very thing in 2002-2004 with RealOne Arcade!!!!

You can't update what doesn't exist.

Due to numerous uncontrollable factors this may very well be the last news update to EMU-LMAO.  Ever.

If you have not noticed, numerous emulation news sites have literally stopped being updated in the year 2010.  With obvious factors involving open-source emulator port updates become literally a norm in what is now the emulation homebrew community, retail emulation's success, that whole CPS2 thing from like '01 where people literally were paying for emulation but were in denial about it.  Basically you could theoretically blame Dayvee boy and Razoola for the burn out related death of the community with the emu-dramas as far back as '02.

Or we can use the death of mainstream rom sites like EMUX.com or Cherry Roms, or any other example you want to use.  Or the whole great power of places like Zophar's Domain or NGEmu which have basically become corporate bore sites with no actual personalities in charge.  You are not special when your news is basically Emuwiki's guys.  Their really is no point in visiting ZD anymore, see I actually made that statement instead of just thinking about it.  Take that  ZD!!!!  SwampGas was more fun then the Edman company, that statement is shamefully true :(

The emulation community that once was is no more.  We can fool ourselves all we want, but the old glory days of seeing Pops or some classmates homebrew emulator make the emulation news as exciting news is now long gone.  Besides, for some of us old timers we won a long time ago when the whole point of emulation really was just to have videogame companies actually care about their old games being re-played.

As this trend is likely to continue unabated this is basically the pre-cursur or the end-game of the news updates to EMU-LMAO.  Yes those relationship-dashes were done on purpose in the previous sentence :D
